Chris Morris is a professional working session musician with over 10 years of industry experience, fulfilling roles as a drummer, bassist and producer. His professional musical career has allowed him to work with many artists, orchestras, theatre productions and record labels. He has performed on stages such as: the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, The Olympic Stadium and Wembley Arena. He has worked with some of the industry’s leading artists, such as: Lethal Bizzle/ Marina and the Diamonds/ Big Sean/ Kiesza/ Natalie La Rose/ Akala/ Matt Redman/ Noel Robinson/ Lara Martin/ Beverley Trotman.
Chris’s passion for music and teaching lead him to start ‘The Drumshed’ in 2010, delivering private tuition and rhythm workshops in educational institutions and other organisations throughout the country. In 2013 he began teaching in secondary education helping to deliver ‘BTEC Level 2 first award in music qualification’. Since then the scope for The Drumshed has expanded as Chris saw a need for inspiration and understanding amongst students and musicians alike. His combination of music industry and teaching experience has resulted in establishing what The Drumshed is today; a tool to aid you in your development as a musician.
